Ricardo Pacheco

Ricardo Pacheco, a native of Ceiba, Puerto Rico, entered the Puerto Rico National Guard in 1986. After two years of service with the Guard, he became an active-duty military member, retiring after two decades and settling in Texas.

Ricardo served in the US Army Aviation branch. Throughout his tenure, he held positions in various units at Army posts ranging from Fort Rucker, Alabama, Fort Eustis, Virginia, and Fort Hood, Texas, to Illesheim, Germany, and Korea. He was also responsible for mentoring and training young soldiers through the Advanced Individual Training and International Military Students.

Although retired, Ricardo continues to serve the Veteran and military community alongside his wife, Nancy, whom he met during a stint as a civilian contractor in Hawaii. She is currently the branch manager for Aligned Mortgage in Killeen, and Ricardo is the community relations manager.

Together, they coordinate educational seminars informing Veterans, active-duty military members, and their families how to best use the VA Home Loan benefit while investing in themselves and building generational wealth.

Away from the office, Ricardo is active in the community, and he and Nancy facilitate networking events and attend PTSD peer groups hosted by Bring Everyone In the Zone of Bell County.

They proudly call Killeen, Texas home and share five children. Ricardo Alexander, who currently serves in the New Mexico National Guard, Max, Briella, Ricardo Argenys, and Camilla. The family’s favorite pastime is attending all sporting and competitive cheerleading events.
