Command Sergeant Major Jose Valdivia has lived and worked throughout the globe during his three-decade stint in the Army. Now a decorated Veteran, this bred Texan from Roscoe has no intentions of leaving the Lone Star State anytime soon.

Instead, as military liaison for Aligned Education Foundation, Jose’s primary goal is to assist Service Members and teach them how the VA Home Loan benefit can change their lives and impact their families for years to come. Helping others, especially his fellow servicemembers and Veterans, is a powerful motivator for Jose. He relies on his background in logistics, strategic planning, and operations management to ensure that those who gave so much for their country can own a piece of the land they served and protected. When it comes to his work, Jose’s most meaningful rewards are the smiles on new homeowners’ faces.

In addition to his position at Aligned Education Foundation, Jose gives back to his community by serving as an ambassador on the Military Affairs Committee in Harker Heights and Copperas Cove, Texas. He’s also certified through the Veterans Affairs as a sponsor to help military service members exiting the service find employment, housing, social and physical activities, and assist with disability and medical claims.

Family is close to Jose’s heart; he and his beautiful wife, Rosa, have been married for 26 years and share three daughters and a son. And when he’s not out chatting with community leaders and Army Senior Leaders, or spending time with his family, you will find Jose sweating it out at the gym.
