Sergeant Major (SgtMaj) Jose Luis Romero is helping us educate, teach, and empower our Veterans and Active-Duty Military members with the process. We help and support our Military members on how to use the entitlement they earned so they can own a piece of land they defended. SgtMaj Romero enlisted in the Marine Corps in August 1994 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA. Upon graduation, he reported to Marine Combat Training, Hotel Company at Camp Pendleton, CA. Upon completion, Sergeant Major Romero reported to Supply School, Camp Johnson, N.C. and received the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 3051, Basic Warehouseman.

SgtMaj Romero is a Veteran of 29 years and now wants to help serve our Veterans and Active-Military Service Members on their entitlements. He brings knowledge and skills to the team. His experience and servant leadership go above and beyond what we look for. He’s been thru hardship training exercises, deployments, and combat tours. He’s backed up by a great and awesome TEAM here at Aligned. We as a TEAM will go above and beyond to help you with your needs to own a piece of land you’ve defended.

Sergeant Major Romero’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal in lieu of 2d Award, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal in lieu of 5th award, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in lieu of four gold stars, Good Conduct Medal in lieu of 9th award, and the Outstanding Military Volunteer Service Medal in lieu of 3d award.

The Aligned Education Foundation (AEF) is a 501(c)(3) service organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. It is run by a group of military veterans who remain dedicated to the care and mentorship of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coastguardsmen, and Guardians.
