James Breckinridge

Retired Command Sgt. Maj. James W. Breckinridge is a native of El Paso, Texas, who now calls St. Robert, Missouri home. After 33 years in the United States Army, James is determined to continue helping military personnel. In his position as Divisional Military Relations Manager with the Aligned Education Foundation, his goal is to educate Veterans and active-duty servicemembers about everything they need to know regarding their VA Home Loan benefits. He understands first-hand how taking advantage of benefits earned for service to your country is a critical step toward building a solid footing for your family’s financial future.

James believes that, more often than not, buying is far better than renting. Still, he’s also aware that new homebuyers need someone to help them navigate the sometimes stressful and intimidating process of purchasing a house.

Through seminars and disseminating VA Home Loan information on local military bases and targeting National Guards, Reservists, VFW, and American Legion members, James serves as an advocate for those Veterans and active-duty servicemembers unaware that they’re eligible to use these life-changing benefits.

When he’s not teaching the merits of using the VA Home Loan and furthering his own higher education by seeking a master’s degree in leadership, James loves spending time with his family. A favorite pastime for James, his wife, Carolyn, and their daughter, Sydney, a student at the University of Missouri, is gathering their four dogs into the RV and heading out camping and sightseeing.

The Aligned Education Foundation (AEF) is a 501(c)(3) service organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. It is run by a group of military veterans who remain dedicated to the care and mentorship of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coastguardsmen, and Guardians.
